The track has already been aired in New York and the UK and has had fantastic reviews and feedback. This will become a bonus track on the USA distribution of Demon Deceiver.
The band did a BRILLIANT job in the studio as well as Sheena and Mark at Madhat studios. We hope you enjoy it.

The band would like to welcome on board some new and exciting endorsements. Mick Hales our new drummer is now being sponsored by 'LIBERTY DRUMS', His drum heads by 'AQUARIAN' and his sticks by 'PELLWOOD'. A Massive thanks to Andy at Liberty and Craig Fenney at Aquarian.

Mick with his new sticks!
Chris our guitarist is now sponsored by the ball busting 'KUSTOM AMPLIFICATION',USA through the SUPERB local company JHS.

(Thanks Gavin.)
Also we would like to send a special thanks to a new friend Al De-Marco at Rockaholik Music. The band supported the opening of the shop and we would like to wish them all the best in the future. Although Chris would ask Al to not to tempt him into buying anymore STUFF!!!

The gig front is also looking good too with a USA tour being put together for March and four festivals already in the bag for the summer, plus all our local gigs to keep our fans happy. ( WE ARE GETTING READY TO KICK SOME SERIOUS ASS).
20/10/2008
After my return from USA I
received some bad news for all our fans has Alex Reynolds our drummer for the last two years has decided to quit to concentrate and put more time into the new
studio that he has just built.
The band and myself wants to wish him all the best in whatever road he decides to take in the future and say thanks for the big input and contribution he put into The Holy Rage while playing with us.( ALL THE BEST MATE).
On a more positive note.............
Alex's replacement is ex 'Lost Souls', 'Ozzmosis' and 'Dante Fox' drummer Mick (the anvil) Hales.

Mick played all the studio session drumming on my 5th solo album 'Demon
Deceiver' and has remained a very close friend to the band over the last couple of years so he was an obvious choice drummer for us. (He is also a fucking awesome drummer).
We start rehearsing this week so we will see you all on the road again soon..........AL.

Holy Rage had yet another great gig the weekend at the Robin 2. This time with an old friend of the band Brian Tatler and Diamond Head. We had a really cool crowd and everyone had a killer night.
Thanks for a great night Brian, and good luck with the new CD.
Holy Rage are in preparation of recording their DEBUT CD so road work may be a little scattered as the band are busy writing and preparing artwork etc. More details will be announced as and when.
On a side note and
personally from Al and the band to our Blabbermouth friends,
NO, WE WILL
NOT BE RECORDING "VICTIM OF FUCKING CHANGES" ok ? So find something
else to wine about which we are sure you will find very easy. ![]()

FROM NEIL DANIELS and AL ATKINS.......
****DAWN OF THE METAL GODS: MY LIFE IN JUDAS PRIEST & HEAVY METAL****
Just checkin’ in to let
you know where I’m up to on my autobiography. Well, I’m glad to say myself and
Neil Daniels have finished the book and it’s in the hands of Iron Pages who I’m
sure will do a great job. The book is gonna look fantastic! There’ll be some
really cool photos and shots of vintage Priest memorabilia that I’m confident is
very rare like a picture of the first ever JUDAS PRIEST recording.

The book will feature contributions from:
Bruno Stapenhill (Judas Priest Mark I)
Ernie Chataway (Judas Priest Mark I)
John Ellis (Judas Priest Mark II)
Trevor Lunn (ex-Judas Priest roadie)
David Howells (Gull Records)
Dave Corke (ex-Judas Priest manager 1970-‘76)
Norman Hood (IMA Agency)
And maybe a surprise or two!!
Obviously it’s not all about Priest: I’ll tell you about my old band LION, my travels around Europe and my solo career right up to my latest band THE HOLY RAGE.
And that’s not all because some of my good friends and people I admire have also contributed like Dennis Stratton, Paul DiAnno, Jess Cox, Brian Tatler, Johnny Lokke, Graham Bonnet, Taz Taylor and Simon Lees. Make a visit to http://www.ip-verlag.de/framesetengl.html.
And please take some time to check out Neil’s other books on Judas Priest and Robert Plant at www.neildaniels.com.

Chris and myself were on the airwaves last night on 'Aston Radio Station 89.1' playing some songs off my latest solo album and some of my favourite tracks from the past.
We would like to thank Roy Davies and Jackie from the Madhouse live 7-9 Monday show for inviting us on and also thanks to everyone who rang in, sent messages or mailed us.
See you all at JB's on Sunday 20th of this month for another night of 'Holy Rage'...
20/02/2008
The Album 'Demon Deceiver' will be finally
released next month in Spain and distributed by 'Goimusic'. Can't wait to go out
there now and promote it with the band.
Also in April we hope to see it's release in Japan by Asian Alliance and let's
hope it sells as well has my 'Victim of Changes' album did out there.
Also, due to Mike De Jager's commitment to other musical projects he has had to
leave the band. Chris Johnson has now taken over all lead guitar duties and we
sound as heavy and awesome as ever.
Catch you all at JB's March 25th.
29/01/2008
The band had quite an experience traveling across to California for the gig at 'The Knitting Factory'. We had to leave all our equipment at JFK Airport New York due to baggage handlers incompetence so we could catch our connection flight. It didn't turn up until 10 minutes before going on stage the next night.

We must say a big big thank you to all the bands who helped us out especially
'Imagika' and Monster from "Jugulur" who were a great bunch of guys.

Although we had a few setbacks we played a great set and we now can't wait to hook up with Graham Bonnet and the Taz Taylor band again (who headlined) on our European Tour in March.

Also a big thanks goes out to 'Extreme Music' and Dave Grohl (Foofighters) uncle Rob from RG Promotions who took us on a sightseeing trip around Hollywood and L.A. and made it very special.

We met up with 'Skid Row' again at the Rainbow Rooms and must say sorry lads for not partying later but the beer and jet lag had set in.
(More Pics to
come very soon!)
26/12/2007
A Merry Xmas and a Rocking New Year to everyone out there from myself and the gang.
We have all been busy towards the end of 2007 in one way or another, we had a great gig a few weeks ago playing alongside 'Skid Row' to a capacity crowd at our favourite haunt JB's night club.

Mike guested with our old mate (ex Iron Maiden) guitarist Dennis Stratton at Eddie's Reunion Gig at 'The Live Club' in Milan , Italy

Also Chris is now off to play an outdoor 'Hogmany Festival' on New Years eve guesting with crazy rockers 'FUBAR' fronted by our good friend Ronz up in Stonehaven, Scotland. A 20,000 capacity crowd is expected! And a few beers knowing Chris!

It looks set to be a great start for the band in the 2008 with our first gig at 'The Knitting Factory' Hollywood, California on the 4th of January playing alongside Graham Bonnet and the Taz Taylor Band and also USA band
'Imagika'.

We kick off a 6 week UK and European Tour in March again with Graham Bonnet and then in June we go back to USA for an East Coast tour with 'Saxon'.(i will keep you all posted on that.)
Thanks everyone for your support.....AL

Message from Al.
After taking a well earned break we finally take to the road again this month starting with opening up for USA rockers 'Skid Row' at 'JB's Nightclub' Dudley on the 25th.
Last month saw me catching up with overdue interviews and adding new sections to the book i am writing with author Neil Daniels. I also went camel riding in the North African desert
whilst in Tunisia.
Webmaster says "A Freakin CAMEL RIDE? You BETTER have pics to back that up dude? hahaha"
More exciting gigs are coming in via 'Extreme Music' like the 13th of December at the 'Transylvanian Club' in Milan, Italy . Also we play 'The Knitting Factory' Hollywood Boulevard,California on the 4th of January, playing alongside one of my all time favourite vocalists Graham Bonnet and the
'Taz Taylor Band. Also on the bill is USA band 'Imagika' who we look forward to meeting up with . We also look forward in seeing Neil and Eileen from our endorsers 'Moser Custom Custom Guitars' in California.
Starting in March 2008 we have been asked to guest on a six week European Tour with Graham Bonnet starting with 10 days in the UK taking in Scotland and Ireland then on returning we go back on tour in the USA ''so watch this space.''

A SHIT LOAD of cool things have been going on lately, first a word from Al.
Unfortunately Mikey got his JVM first so now Chris is Sulking.
Well done MIke de Jager, * webmaster mutters bastard, I hate him.
We will be heading down to the Marshall shortly to meet Jim and his daughter.
Chris got a new guitar from the amazing MCS dudes who we love loads.
Also we have loads of pics to upload of our little adventures.

Al's Book
Original JUDAS PRIEST singer AL ATKINS
(THE HOLY RAGE) is working on a new autobiography dubbed Dawn Of The Metal Gods:
My Life In Judas Priest & Heavy Metal.
"For some time now I have wanted to write my own book about my amazing life
in heavy metal," says Atkins. "Finally that dream has come true; after
befriending Neil Daniels – a freelance rock writer and heavy metal fan –
during the writing of his book The Story Of Judas Priest: Defenders Of The Faith
(Omnibus Press) we have come up with some great ideas together. I am going to
co-author my autobiography with Neil and it will be published by Iron Pages. It
will be called Dawn Of The Metal Gods: My Life In Judas Priest & Heavy
Metal. Of course there will be some great stories from my few years in Priest
but also, loads of info on the sixties music scene in Birmingham and the West
Midlands. I knew bands like SLADE, TRAPEZE and THE BAND OF JOY. I saw CREAM
live, befriended BUDGIE and supported ROD STEWART. Also, I was in a band called
LION in the late ‘70s and we supported the SEX PISTOLS and THE STRANGLERS. I
also have a solo career and have released five albums so far; my new CD is
called Demon Deceiver. It should make for an exciting read. There’ll also be
loads of photos from the early years of Judas Priest and pictures of ticket
stubs, posters, memorabilia, etc. Watch out for it on the book shelves and on
the Internet during the second half of 2008!"

Al says :-
Can i just say thanks K.K for your kind words on 'The Classic Metal Show'. Your support for myself has been great over the last 30 years (HA!
Yeah right)
As for myself using the Priest name is verging on ridiculous, let me just say (and my memory is still good),It was me who gave you the 'Judas Priest' name in the first place and it was me who co wrote those early songs like Winter , Never Satisfied, and Victim to name a few that helped you get a record deal.
I've never asked you for a thing over all those years and i have respected 'Priest' for all the hard work you have done and the brilliant records you have turned out, show a little respect back please.........AL ATKINS.

Al says :-
We had another great night at JB's night club on Sunday which has now become our residency (thanks Sam).
Our next gig there is on the 21st of March with New York vocalist Kory Klarke and his band 'Warrior Soul', really looking forward to this one.
Another show coming up is with legendary Steve Winwood, just waiting for the date.
Scott Dallow our new bass player came through his debut gig with flying colours and was well recieved by the
audience.
Scott is now settling in very well with the band. Good player and a really nice guy. The band want to get him drunk but he just keeps saying no!!!
The night kicked off with KK Downing look alike Mitchell Monster and his solo act of mostly his own songs (not bad for a
13 year old) He has lots of untapped mindblowing talent yet to show.

Second on the bill was 'The Temple Dogs' and what a great set this was and i'm sure we will hear a lot more from this band which includes guitarist Paul May who has played some part or other on all my 5 albums.

My band then topped the night off with our usual heavy rock/metal set list, I was a bit croaky following a rotten cold but i came through the night unscathed but looked a bit battle worn.

We finished the night with Paul and Mitch joining us for our grand finale and the four guitar guitar sound was awesome.

(check out for more in the picture gallery soon).
Also check out the new interview section coming soon.
The band at this point would like to say a few things.
Al :- "I would personally like to thank Neal and Earlleen Moser and Ronz for endorsing our band, Their guitars are absolutely awsome. The lift they bring to my guitarists is seriously somthing to see, i am still amazed, incredible"
Alex :- "Was my timing off or?"
Band :- " Lets get him, go for the bollocks"
Chris ;- "Can somone get me a beer?"
Scott :- "'ang on, let me write this down"
Band :- " Lets get him, go for the bollocks"
Chris ;- "Can somone get me a BEER?"
Mike :- "Ronz, I would like to personally thank you for endorsing Al's music and giving me a STUNNING instrument. MCS guitars are simply superb. Chris, I have to say thank you to you for making that happen. Thanks bro."
Chris ;- "Dont thank me Mike, Al and Ronz are to blame! Now can SOMEONE GET ME A DAMN BEER? "
The Al Atkins band are really proud to be the first UK (and as we are so far aware of), the only UK band to be fully endorsed by the INCREDIBLE moser custom shop. Our friend Ronz will correct us if we screwed that up.
Cheers Earlleen, Neal and the our kick ass Scottish bro Ronz. You are the man dude.
The big jam will happen. Ohhhhh yes.

My new 5th solo album 'Demon Deceiver' is now available at last and is already getting some early rave reviews from various rock mag's with massive orders coming in worldwide.
It's been a long time putting everything in place with lots of setbacks and that's rock and roll for you but now it all seems worthwhile.
Can i say a big thank you to everyone who supports my band especially Moser Custom Guitars in California who have now endorsed us again for 2007.
My guitarists Mike de Jager from South Africa and Chris Johnson have both received their new axes and are well pleased with them.

The AL ATKINS Band welcomes on board their new management........ SSG Artist, Management and Publishing company in Finland.
![]()
Al would like to say a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all his fans and friends worldwide.
Al Says:-
2006 has had its ups and downs. What with the album being held up for 6 months or more and my mother passing away in May. Also the european dates were put on hold until we could do the promotion of the new album justice.
The plus signs were the band started gigging anyway in the UK and sounded BRILLIANT.
Two weeks ago we saw Pete Emms (our bass player) leave us to concentrate on his Vaseline Rats project and we all wish him all the best and will miss him, but life goes on in his replacement Scott Dallow, also from the UK.
Talking of rats, Scott, Chris, Mick Hales and myself got together last week to sink a few gallons of beer and got TOTALLY rat arsed with Chris falling over a wall. ( He is OK! Nothing damaged but a few more brain cells).
Anyway, keep checking our news throughout January for more news on Scott and a new photo shoot we have arranged for our sponsers Moser Custom Shop.
The great news is the Album is OUT so everything will now start dropping into place and already we have dates coming in and interviews being set up with magazines across Europe.
Unfortunately I do not think Scott will be quite ready for the L.A. Guns gig in January but we cannot wait for 2007 and all it brings.

Al's long awaited CD has now FINALLY been manufactured in Germany for new Swedish label DIESEL AND GLORY and we now look forward to copies of this classic album "DEMON DECEIVER" which features guitarists Brian Tatler (Diamond head), Johnny Lokke (from Kansas USA) and Simon Lees (Budgie).
The band played another great gig last night at JB's nightclub here in the UK and we would like to say a BIG thank you to the support band Hostile who played a storming set and also Mitchell Monster who joined us on our last song. We shall be looking forward to play there again in the new year.

Johnny Lokke - Metal News from the Heartland (June 2006). A recent interview with Al.
5 QUESTIONS WITH. is a feature where I ask my friends and influences 5 questions that they don't usually get asked in the usual boring interviews. Last month guitarist Jack Frost stopped by and talked about how he may be working with my friend Al Atkins (http://www.alatkins.com/) on his upcoming tour of North America, so I thought this month we'll talk to Al and see what he has to say. Al and I have been good friends for a while now. He joined me on my cd "The New Breed - Bound by the Thread" and I think our duet "Drown" will also be featured on his upcoming release as well. For those of you who haven't heard of Al, he was vocalist in the original line-up o Judas Priest. He has one of the strongest voice's that I have ever heard, plus he is a really cool cat to boot. Allan Atkins.come on down!
1) What do you say to all those
people that ignore the great music you've put out over the years and insist you
are still living off of your days in Judas Priest?
What people think is of no importance to me, everyone has an opinion. What I can
say though is that I am very proud to have played in such an important band like
'Judas Priest', all be it a long time ago. If these people who knock me had done
this I'm sure they would feel the same way as I do. Not only did I form them and
sing with them for 4 years, I also wrote songs like 'Victim of Changes' which
they still play to this day, so how can I forget I was ever in the band?
3) You've been in thebusiness for
some time, but your music is still fresh and relevant. How do you keep
re-inventing yourself cd after cd?
I think it's down to playing with different musicians and bouncing ideas off
each other. It's surprising what another guitarist's style of playing can maybe
influence you to write a song around him alone. A bit like when Scott Travis
joined 'Priest' and they wrote Painkiller around his style of drumming.
4) For people that aren't familiar
with your solo work, what 5 songs best sum up Allan Atkins?
Mind Conception, Cradle to the Grave, Victim of Changes, Dreamer Deceiver and A
Void to Avoid.
5) What cds are making the
rotation in your cd player currently?
My tastes vary to my mood:
Children of Bodom.........Are you dead yet
System of a Down.........Mezmerize
Seven Witches...............Amped
Robert Plant....................Mighty Rearranger
and of course............Judas Priest............Rising in the East

However, Chris has been blessed with a one of a kind all black BVi. The only one on the planet!

Congratulations Chris.

Blake Lewis is an old friend from the USA of Chris Johnson's. He is also a big fan of Al and the band. His soulmate and long time close friend Shanna, an extremely beautiful young woman, was unfortunately involved in a horrific car accident. Every bone in her face was broken and has had to go through some terrible operations and of course the soul killing reality of her injuries.
The good news is she is now well on the mend, although still poorly, Shan is comming on strong and getting back to her old self again.

The band would like to send a personal message of "get well soon" to Shan, we will see you on the road soon, and we are sending you a signed DVD from the guys. All the Best Shan, from Al and the band.

A'ls recent interviev for "Live for Metal" magazine on his top five albums of all time.
"Al
Atkins (ex-Judas Priest, solo artist)
“This is a tough one to ask but my favourite top five I suppose are very
predictable. “To me Black Sabbath’s Paranoid was the first heavy metal album
and was a bench mark for all to follow. Judas Priest’s Unleashed was what
Judas did best, which was live, and this album summed them up. Can I count
Queens of the Stone Age as a heavy metal band? I love this album.”
1. Black Sabbath - Paranoid
2. Judas Priest – Unleashed in the East
3. Metallica - Master of Puppets
4. Diamond Head – Livin’ on Borrowed Time
5. Queens of the Stone Age – Songs for the Deaf"
See the opinions of other
artists here
Also, Al seems to be getting quite a following!

Al Says the meeting up with old friend Jack Frost (guitarist for The Seven Witches) at the NAMM exibition proved to be a good result when he offered to play in Al's band if Al plays the US again. Al has since got back to him to say that he has been asked to play 'The Voices of Metal' festival in Mexico to be confirmed in May or June 2006. They will be playing songs from Al's new album 'Demon Deceiver' plus a couple of Witches songs.
Al says he is sorry for the delay of the of his album but he changed his mind on the record company at the last minute and has now signed over to 'D and D' Music and Merchandise in Sweden.

After a well earned break to carry on with his book "Dawn of the metal gods" Al is back in the frame to visit the NAMM at the Anaheim Convention Center. Al has featured in a recent article regarding heavy metal music and violence.
Al
Atkins (Original singer of Judas Priest - A.N.D. - Lion - Janus)
Official Site - www.alatkins.com
I don't think heavy / rock / metal music leads to violence, it's always down to an idiotic individual. I don't remember John Lennon ever writing or singing heavy / rock or metal music and look what happend to him. God rest their souls.
